Dr. László Kovács, founded InFarmatik in 1994 subsequently InFarmatik Inc. in 2003 and has served as President, Chief Executive Officer since 1999. At InFarmatik Dr. Kovacs invented a novel combinatorial chemistry instrument, the thermal gradient reactor. Prior to that he was Vice President and Director of Chemistry at ComGenex, a pioneering Hungarian combinatorial chemistry company. At ComGenex Dr. Kovacs designed and implemented the company’s solution-synthesis platform, and system integration. Prior to his tenure at ComGenex, he was involved in the process development of APIs at Gedeon Richter Chemical Works Ltd. in the Department of Chemical Research and Development. Dr Kovács holds an M.S. and a doctoral degree from the Technical University of Budapest.
