Born in 1971. Graduated from the Operational and Economic Faculty of the Agricultural College in Brno, specialization accounting and financial management of companies. He started his professional career in the Controlling Department of the Assembly Division of the company ABB Energy Systems. Here he gained experience in the positions of the centre controller, reporting controller and the head of controlling. From the year 2000 he worked as Senior Financial Analyst in the Canadian company Celestica Czech Republic. Since February 2002 he has been in the position of Financial Director of the PLIVA-Lachema company, responsible for the coordination of divestment activities of the company. In April 2004 he was elected Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Directors of PLIVA-Lachema.
