Dr.Torok graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Debrecen in 2001. He worked as a surgeon at the Medical and Health Science Centre at the University of Debrecen, then at Josa Andras County Hospital in Nyiregyhaza. He gained professional skills in the field of vascular surgery and vascular interventional radiology. Since 2004 he is a PhD student at the Clinical Research Centre of the University of Debrecen. His main research area is the relationship between cardiovascular diseases and haemostasis and metabolism disorders. He holds an MBA from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Debrecen. During his carrier he worked as a medical editor in chief at ”Vitalitas.hu” medical content provider web portal of Springer Scientific Publisher. Besides these he also gained marketing sales and HR experience at leading pharmaceutical and recruitment companies (Novartis Consumer Health, Merck Ltd., Health Resources International Comp.)He is member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery, the Hungarian Society of Surgery and the Hungarian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery.
