Born in 1962, she received her B.Sc. in bioorganic chemistry in 1985, M.Sc. in environmental chemistry in 1995 and Ph.D. in environmental chemistry in 2000, from the University of Tartu.
At the moment she works as a researcher in the Institute of Physical Chemistry in the University of Tartu and is the manager of the R&D project of biosensor technology. In 1994-1995 she went through research training in Uppsala University, Sweden.
Main areas of interests are biosensor construction and modelling, bioanalysis. She has studied project management and business planning at the Estonian Business School course. CEO of OÜ TorroSen, member of board.
