He is JSC OlainnFarm Chairman of the Board since 1997. Between 2001 and 2004 he was also a Chairman of the Board of Endokrininiai Preparatai Ltd (Lithuania). In 1998 till 1999 he worked for R gas Farmaceitisk Fabrika and was a Chairman of the Coulcil and in years 1993 until 1997 he was a Director of Pharmaceutical company „Baltfarm” Ltd. (Russian Federation).
He graduated from University of Latvia, with master degree in economics and social sciences in 2002. In 2005 he started a doctoral program in Newport International University education centre– Net University.
