Born on 1962. Graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Latvian University, and in 2002 was awarded the MBA degree in Riga Business Institute. In JSC „Grindeks” works since 1993, previously held the office of the general director, was the deputy Production director. Before that he was a researcher in the Institute of Molecular Biology of Latvian Academy of Sciences. V.Skrivelis is Chairman of the Board of Association of Latvian Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry since April 2007.
