2009-11-26 Polish-American cooperation in biotechnology

Representatives of Tetracore company from Rockville (Maryland, US), William M. Nelson, PhD – CEO, and Rolf Rauh visited National Veterinary Research Institute in Pulawy on 16th November to recognize opportunities of cooperation. The talks concentrated on the subject of developing and improving diagnostic tests for detection of causes of animal diseases.

The Tetracore R&D company specializes in production of diagnostic tests for veterinary purposes, as well as for fight with bioterrorism.

National Veterinary Research Institute is a scientific unit of the Ministry of Agriculture. Its main mission is applied research in veterinary medicine, particularly diagnosis, prophylaxis, toxicology of food, protection of the environment
