2009-11-16 High rating of Poland in the latest report about outsourcing locationsThe basis for the success in outsourcing is the right location of the company, what enables providing customers with the highest level of service. That is the approach of the authors of the report: "Top 50 Emerging Global Outsourcing Cities”, published by the consulting firm Tholons.
Cracow has achieved a considerable success in this year's configuration - 4th place in the world and the first in Central and Eastern Europe. Cracow improved its result from the last year (5th place), and two years ago (16th place). In this year’s ranking Cracow was ahead of Prague and Budapest (12th and 22th place, respectively).
The capital of Malopolska has been recognized as highly valued place to locate investments in financial and accounting service centers, multilingual contact centers and the centers of recruitment and human resources management. According to the report, the second Polish city in the ranking - Warsaw (28th place) - distinguishes itself as a location for health-care services.
Poland is in the 10th place on the list of best BPO (Centers of Common Services) locations. The report's authors emphasize that Poland is an ideal place to locate investments in service directed to customers in Western Europe and Scandinavia. Poland has become the strongest BPO centre in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, with the ability of providing a wide range of services in multiple languages, and attractive office locations across the country. High standards of the Polish education system have been emphasized.
It is worth to notice that in comparison with other European countries, Poland has advanced the most in the ranking of ‘Top 50 Emerging Global Outsourcing Cities’. Poland was the only country, that placed two of its cities (Cracow and Warsaw) among the top thirty cities of the ranking. The largest group among the 50 best locations for BPO investment are cities in Central and Eastern Europe (26%), followed by 14% of locations in East Asia and South America, and 10% - cities in the Middle East and South-East Asia.
