2009-11-10 Nanotechnology under strict control of EUEuropean Commission plans reviewing all the EU regulations, which control usage of nanomolecules.
They aim at elimination of applications being in contrary to the destinations.
Stavros Dimas, Commissioner for the Environment, declared:
Commission will revise all the regulations referring to nanomolecules, which have been generated within the last two years.
The reason for such action is care for safety of consumers and natural environment.
In the same time European Union finances research project for creating rules on nanotechnology, formulated in clear and readable way for consumers from the EU region, what should prevent false opinions on the subject.
