2009-10-06 Event: Swiss company awarded for innovativeness at BIOTECHNICA 2009

The distinguished company - NovImmune SA from Switzerland - received the main award of 30,000 EUR from Deutsche Messe AG and its partners for innovativeness in biotechnology and life sciences. The prizes were handed by EU Commissioner Janez Potocnik at the opening ceremony of BIOTECHNICA 2009.

The other two finalists of the contest at BIOTECHNICA 2009 were biopharmaceutical companies TRION Pharma GmbH from Germany and French VIVALIS SA.

All three companies were granted with around 23,000 EUR per each in non-cash prizes: business strategy and investment consultancy by Capgemini Consulting and media packages in the "European Biotechnology News".

BIOTECHNICA 2009 takes place in Hannover on 6-8th October.
