2009-09-03 Poland: Polish-German Life Science Forum in Szczecin

In cooperation with the West-Pomeranian Center of Advanced Technologies Szczecin BioCon Valley Mecklenburg-Vorpommern organises the international conference "Polish-German Life Science Forum" taking place on September 24th - 25th, 2009 in Szczecin, Poland. Main aim of the forum is to strengthen cross border cooperation in life science and bio business.

Key experts from the region present their newest results, in particular on the topics: - Molecular medicine (diagnostics on cancer, functional genomics), - Microbiology (bioremediation) and - Biomaterials.

Satellite workshops concentrate on progress in technology transfer and regional development with experts from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the USA. A special workshop offers professional hands-on training "How to write a successful FP7 proposal". Individual partnering and an industrial exhibition is integral part of the conference.

Who can participate?
young and advanced scientists from academia and industry interested in cross border cooperation.

Call for abstracts
We encourage to send short abstracts on the field of study or projects by 14th of September 2009.

The data will be published in the conference booklet and serve as a basis for direct partnering.
