2009-04-20 Poland: Development of biotechnology sector in Poland

Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiZ) has announced a plan of attraction of foreign large biotechnology company to Poland by the end of this year. The list of potential partners already exists.

The closest step of campaign welcoming investments in Poland is presentation of possibilities during BIO International Convention in Atlanta. Visit to Silicon Valley will follow in November for developing interactions with American biobiusiness.

According to PAIiZ representatives, attractiveness of biotechnology area has been just recently spotted by Polish government, but immediately after has been placed on the preferential list.

PAIiZ offers support for foreign investors including grants for highly qualified employees, assistance in finding best location for investments and organization of meetings with scientists and potential employees.
