2009-02-24 Poland: New premises of Celther Polska company

Celther company was set up in 2008. Cooperation between the scientific team of researchers from Lodz, and a pharmaceutical entrepreneur LEK-AM was established during last edition of BioForum, the biggest Forum of Biotechnology and Innovative Bioeconomy in the region of Central Europe. From the beginning the main aim of the company was to put stem cells derivatives on the European pharmaceutical market. The company`s research is concentrated on development of innovative therapies for treatment of diabetic and neurodegenerative diseases and such as Parkinson's disease. In addition, at present the board of the company is focused on finding new premises.

Main shareholder of the company is a pharma company LEK-AM, which will definately ultimately decide whether to locate in Lódz new premises of the company. Personally, I insisted that it will come into effect - informed Dr Piotr Rieske, the CEO of Celther Poland.
