2008-11-05 Decision about purchasing Bioton`s shares company has been postponed

George Starak, the owner of Windstorm Trading & Investments company, have in plans taking over from Prokom Investments 33,3 percent of Bioton for 450 milion PLN. Nevertheless, the investigation of biotechnological polish company will last till the end of November, one month later than it was planned at the beginning.

Workers of emerges and taking over section of Polpharma company, which is under control of George Starak, have been conducting due diligence examination of Bioton company from the beginning of September. At the end of August Prokom Investments signed up the agreement of selling all package of shares of Bioton to Windstorm Trading & Investments for 450 milions PLN. The price can rise to 500 million PLN in case of registration by EMEA( European Medicines agency) one of the products of Bioton company – drug containing interferon beta. If the final price of sale is 400 million PLN Prokom Investments will receive 0,44 PLN for each share.(today in the morning the price was 0.42 PLN).
