2008-11-04 The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development has becomea member of International Association of Science Parks
In October 2008 Poland with three other countries: USA (The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte Research Institute), Italy (Toscana Life Sciences Foundation) and Israel (Haifa Life Science Park) has joined IASP, the worldwide network of Science and Technology Parks. IASP connects Science Park professionals from across the globe and provide services that drive growth and effectiveness among the association. Members of IASP contribute to global economic development through innovation, entrepreneurship, and the transfer of knowledge and technology.
The IASP is a NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. The IASP is a founding member of the World Alliance for Innovation - WAINOVA. Science and Technology Parks are the perfect habitat for business and institutions of the global knowledge economy. Science & Technology Parks promote the economic development and competitiveness of regions and cities of their affiliates.
