2008-10-30 Invalda to sell stake in drugmaker Sanitas to Citigroup

AB Invalda, a Lithuanian investment firm, plans to sell 20.3 pct of Lithuania's drugmaker AB Sanitas to Baltic Pharma Limited, a venture-capital firm managed by Citigroup Inc, Bloomberg writes.

The deal is expected be completed in the first quarter of 2009, the drugmaker said in a statement today. Invalda said yesterday the transaction is worth EUR 30 million.
