2008-10-06 After many months of decreasing stocks value Bioton started its recovery. Investors hope for Polpharma support.

Bioton quotations, even though unstable in the last week, allowed investors to save their profits gained during last few sessions. Between September 17 and 25 Bioton stocks value increased of 17,5% (from 0.40 to 0.47 PLN) therefore Bioton quotations have reached the highest price since June.

There are several factors responsible for observed quotations increase. One of the factors seem to be investors hope that Bioton due diligence analysis will be successfully finished and result in acquisition of the company by Polfarma. Until the analysis is not completed, what can take few weeks, the possible takeover is not sure and still there exist risk of not completing the process.

From the theoretical point of view on the graphs presenting Bioton quotations one can observe inverse to a decreasing trend. After stabilization around 0.38-0.40 PLN quotations turned trend to increasing one.

Investors optimism should be verified and supported by the company statement. Recent strong dollar price means that a good time for the company has come what should be indicated by the increased income. The effect should be visible in the third quarter.
